Join us at the Teahouse to taste and experience the unique world of Puerh Teas. This style of tea is an aged, fermented tea from the Yunnan Province of China. This aging process allows the flavors to deepen and intensify, creating complex aromas and profiles. The tea trees from this region can be hundreds of years old, and the area is known and appreciated for vintage, factory, and production style.
This workshop will introduce participants to the different types and styles of puerh tea, including the raw, green “sheng” tea, and the cooked, ripe “shou” teas. A number of different shapes and styles of the tea will be demonstrated.
Class is limited to ten participants to ensure a hands-on experience. Register early.
